Favicon Generator Online

Vamriko Favicon Generator creates a favicon package from an image directly in your browser. A favicon is the small icon used to identify a website in browser tabs, bookmarks, and other browser interfaces.

Instead of preparing individual icon files manually, you can start with one suitable image and generate a downloadable ZIP package containing the favicon assets supported by the tool.

How to Use the Favicon Generator

Favicon Generator FAQ

What is a favicon?

A favicon is a small website icon commonly displayed in browser tabs, bookmarks, and other browser interface locations.

What image should I use for a favicon?

A simple, clear image or logo with strong visual contrast generally works well because favicon icons are displayed at small sizes.

What does the generated ZIP contain?

The ZIP contains favicon-16x16.png, favicon-32x32.png, favicon-48x48.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180 x 180), icon-192.png, icon-512.png, site.webmanifest, and favicon-setup.html. ICO, SVG, and maskable icons are not included. The manifest is an editable template, not a complete PWA setup.

Does the favicon generator require a server upload?

No. The favicon package is generated locally in your browser, so the image does not need to be uploaded to a Vamriko server.

Where do I add the favicon to my website?

Upload the PNG files and manifest to your website, then copy the relevant tags from favicon-setup.html into your HTML head. The example paths assume the files are in your website root. Adjust the paths and manifest settings for your site's structure.

What size should a favicon image be?

Use a clear source image, ideally at least 512 x 512 pixels to avoid enlarging it for the largest output. Fit keeps non-square images whole with transparent padding. Center crop fills the square by removing content from the edges.

Can I use a PNG, JPG, or WebP image?

The tool accepts supported image formats such as JPG, PNG, and WebP, making it easy to create favicon assets from an existing logo or image.

Are my images uploaded to Vamriko?

No. The favicon generation is designed to run locally in your browser, keeping the selected image on your device during the process.
