Scientific Calculator Online
Vamriko's scientific calculator is designed for students, professionals and everyday calculations. Use trigonometric functions, logarithms, powers, roots and constants without installing additional software.
How to Use the Scientific Calculator
- Enter numbers and operators using the calculator keypad or keyboard.
- Choose DEG or RAD when working with trigonometric functions.
- Press equals to calculate the result and review previous calculations in the history panel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Vamriko scientific calculator free?
Yes. It is free to use directly in your browser.
Does it work on mobile devices?
Yes. The interface adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
Can I use degrees and radians?
Yes. Switch between DEG and RAD before using trigonometric functions.
Can I calculate logarithms and powers?
Yes. The calculator includes logarithms, natural logarithms, powers and square roots.
Are calculations processed locally?
Yes. Calculations are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to an external calculation service.

Expression rules and continuing a calculation
Use explicit multiplication, such as 2*pi or 2*(3+4). Powers use ^ and associate from the right: 2^3^2 means 2^(3^2). Powers take precedence over a leading minus, so -2^2 is -4, while (-2)^2 is 4. Negative exponents such as 2^-3 are supported.
After a successful result, an arithmetic operator continues from the internal numeric value. Entering a digit, decimal point, constant or opening parenthesis starts a new expression. Use AC or enter a new expression to recover from an error.
Scientific functions, percentages and memory
Enter a complete number or expression, then press a function button to apply it to the whole value. For example, enter 30 and press sin in DEG mode. Function names such as sin(...) are not accepted as typed expressions. Changing DEG or RAD affects subsequent trigonometric operations; it does not convert an existing result.
log is base 10 and ln is the natural logarithm. The percent button divides the whole current value by 100; it is not a contextual discount or markup operator. Factorial accepts non-negative integers up to 170, with large outputs subject to floating-point approximation. Non-real or non-finite results are rejected.
Tangent rejects angles at or extremely close to its singularities. MC clears memory; MR recalls it; M+ and M- add or subtract the current value. AC clears the active expression but does not clear memory or history.
Precision, history and privacy
Results display up to approximately 12 significant digits. Subsequent operations retain the internal JavaScript numeric result rather than reading the rounded display. This is floating-point arithmetic, not arbitrary-precision or symbolic mathematics.
History keeps up to 12 expressions completed with equals, in page memory. Clicking an entry restores its expression for recalculation. Clear in the history panel removes those entries. Memory and history are not saved by this tool across a page reload.
The calculator code evaluates expressions locally without an external calculation service. The page also loads analytics, advertising and supporting resources.
