Rotate PDF
Rotate every page or only the pages you choose, then download the corrected PDF.
Rotate PDF pages online
Upload a PDF, choose a 90°, 180°, or 270° rotation, and apply it to all pages or a selected page range. Your document is processed locally in your browser.
How to rotate a PDF
- Choose a PDF file or drag it into the upload area.
- Select the rotation angle and the pages you want to change.
- Use the original-page previews to identify pages, then select Rotate and download PDF. Open the downloaded file to check the new orientation.
Correct PDF page orientation
Use Rotate PDF when a scan opens sideways, a page is upside down, or only part of a document needs a different orientation. Rotate every page at once or target specific pages and ranges, then save a separate corrected PDF.
Rotation changes how pages are displayed and printed. Your PDF is processed locally in your browser, so the selected document stays on your device.
Rotate PDF FAQ
Can I rotate only selected pages in a PDF?
Yes. Enter individual page numbers or ranges such as 1,3-5 in the pages field instead of selecting all pages.
Can I rotate a PDF by 180 degrees?
Yes. Choose 180 degrees for upside-down pages, or choose 90 or 270 degrees to correct pages that are sideways.
Why is my scanned PDF sideways?
Scanners and phone cameras can save page orientation incorrectly. Rotate the affected pages so the document reads and prints in the correct direction.
Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Rotate PDF processes the selected document locally in your browser. Your PDF stays on your device during the rotation process.
Does rotating a PDF reduce its quality?
No. Rotating changes the page orientation. It does not convert the document pages into lower-quality images.

Understand the rotation and previews
The selected angle is added to each chosen page's existing rotation. Choose 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees counterclockwise, which corresponds to 270 degrees clockwise. Unselected pages remain in the document without an added rotation.
The previews show the original document, limited to its first 12 pages. Changing the rotation angle or page selection does not update these thumbnails. You can still select valid pages beyond the preview limit; download the result and inspect those pages separately.
Each download is generated from the PDF you originally selected. Downloading again applies the current options to that original input, not to the previously downloaded result. To rotate an exported result further, select that file as a new input.
File requirements and output
Use an unencrypted PDF that you are authorized to edit. This tool does not provide a password-entry option for encrypted documents. Large or complex files may take longer or exceed the memory available to your browser.
The output is a separate file with a name ending in -rotated.pdf. The original file is not overwritten. The rotation code processes the selected PDF in your browser without uploading its contents for processing, although the page may load advertising or supporting resources.
