PDF to JPG FAQ

Does each PDF page become a separate JPG?

Yes. Each selected page produces one JPG containing the full page or its saved crop. Unselected pages are not exported.

Does converting a PDF change the original file?

No. The conversion creates image copies of the pages and leaves the original PDF unchanged.

Why would I convert a PDF page to JPG?

JPG pages are convenient for image-based workflows such as presentations, website content, previews, messaging, and visual editing.

Can I convert a multi-page PDF?

Yes. A multi-page PDF can produce a separate JPG image for each processed page.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

The conversion code processes your selected PDF locally in your browser without uploading its contents for conversion. The page also loads analytics, advertising and supporting resources.

Select pages and save independent crops

All pages are selected when a PDF opens. Clicking a page card both opens its preview and toggles its selection, so check the selected-page count before converting. Use Select All or Clear to change the full selection.

Each page has its own saved crop. Drag on the preview to create a region, move the crop box or resize it using its corner handles. Reset Crop clears only the current page's crop. Saved crops use proportions of the page, so changing resolution or preview size preserves the selected region, subject to pixel rounding.

Understand JPG quality, resolution and downloads

The resolution setting controls how many pixels are rendered from the PDF page. It is not a guarantee of image sharpness and does not write custom print-resolution metadata into the JPG. The selection dimensions shown beside the editor are preview pixels, not the final exported image dimensions.

The quality slider controls JPEG encoding, not a guaranteed percentage of original quality. JPG output is an image of the page or crop; it does not retain editable PDF text or interactive document features.

Controls are locked during document loading and conversion. The selected pages, saved crops, quality and resolution are fixed for each conversion. Results are separate download links, named with the original page numbers. Download any results you need before converting again or changing the PDF, because those actions clear the previous links.

Large documents and high-resolution exports may require substantial browser memory. Conversion does not overwrite the original PDF.
