.NET tools for the parts the IDE does not cover

Visual Studio handles most of a .NET day. It does not turn appsettings.json into the double-underscore environment variables Docker and Kubernetes want, or hand you a TypeScript interface for a C# DTO, or explain what is inside a connection string. That is what this category is for.

Connection strings and appsettings files contain credentials, which is exactly why these conversions happen in your browser rather than on someone else's server.
